Mill Terms and Regulation Policy

  • Prices are subject to change without notice List prices are based on supplying materials in random lengths Add to the list price for specified lengths.
  • All orders must be placed in advance we will notify you when your order is complete.
  • To avoid errors and allow us to process your order in a timely manner, please submit orders in writing fax Verbal orders will be entered on a mill sheet and returned for your approval.
  • When ordering, please list the profile number, description, species and lengths required.
  • Orders requiring special tooling or non stock material will require a down payment to cover tooling
    and materials Special orders are non-returnable.
  • Orders for non stock profiles under linear feet will require a set up charge
  • All custom tooling becomes property of Kosko Wood Products, Inc
  • Lead time is dependent upon our mill schedule, availability of species and lengths required, tooling required and other conditions beyond our control.
  • Delivery to your area is based on our delivery schedule A nominal drop off fee will be
    added to your invoice based on distance and size of order Please call for delivery schedule
    and fee to your area.
  • Orders not on account must be paid in full when picked up or on delivery.
  • Accounts are due net within 30 calendar days no retainage.
  • A 25% restocking charge will be applied to all returns Return items other than standard
    stock will not be accepted under any conditions.
  • Return of any purchased materials must be within calendar days of the purchase. No damaged, soiled, cut or otherwise altered items will be accepted.
  • Replacement requests are subject to Kosko Wood Products inspection and approval.
  • Our liability will not exceed the cost of our product.
  • Shortages or defects on materials must be reported upon receipt and prior to installation
    or finishing.
  • Unless otherwise specified, all casing profiles will be 3/4 inch thick and all base
    profiles will be 5/8 inch thick.
  • Do not expose finish grade products to rain or snow while loading or unloading. Water spots will show up after finishing.
  • Do not subject material to extremely high, low or fluctuating humidity.
  • Do not subject unfinished wood to wet concrete, plaster or drywall; as they will transmit moisture to unfinished wood products. Moisture will cause swelling, warpage or joint separation.
  • Do not expose unfinished wood products to excessive heat, dryness or sudden temperature changes, such as firing up a furnace.
  • Please be aware that all wood products may require some preparation (sanding) before finishing.
  • Wood products are derived from the various species of trees which are a natural resource. Natural wood products will have color variations, mineral stains and the grain will not always be uniform. Natural wood may not accept a stain or finish evenly. When installing natural wood products, it is advisable to lay out all materials prior to installation so that you can match the colors and grains. This process will also allow you to select the proper lengths.
